How do we hold onto hope in this life when sometimes it just hurts like hell to hang on and our fingernails are breaking? What's going on with our hearts when we hope? Why and how do we get the benefits of hope?
This coming Saturday, April 14, our Bluewater Women's gathering is going to bring deep refreshment and strength right to the center of our need. The wonderful Joannie Koch will be continuing our series "The Language of God: Words of Life" with a down-to-earth but rooted-in-eternity look at the word HOPE.
She'll be sharing out of her own struggles and victories, and also from scripture's wisdom: "I pray that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened in order that you may know the HOPE to which he has called you, the riches of his glorious inheritance in his holy people, and his incomparably great power for us who believe." Ephesians 1:18-19
We'll come together into the presence Jesus through worship (Sonya Seng leading) and have time to pray for one another. This is going to be a rich time of soul watering you don't want to miss.
As always, please RSVP to the Bluewater Women's Evite so we can plan well for you. And arrive by 8:30 so we can enjoy eating together and get started on time. Looking forward to seeing you there!
Please park at the St. Francis School next to the Youth with a Mission base - 2707 Hipawai Pl, Honolulu, HI 96822. (Last month there was some confusion with our parking there but it was all cleared up so have no fear to park there.)
FYI, those of you who expressed interest in a post gathering hike to Manoa Falls, we're going to postpone it to a future month since our two hike leaders can't do it Saturday.
Lastly, we won't be meeting in May so that everyone can be free to attend Bluewater's Holy Spirit Retreat -- a must-go if you haven't already! So this week's gathering will have to last us all til our June get together :)
