Join us for a Righteous Saturday

We're looking forward to being together again this coming SaturdayMarch 10, 8:30-10:30am at the Youth with a Mission "Tin Cathedral" 2707 Hipawai Pl, Honolulu, HI 96822. Please RSVP via Evite  and consider inviting a friend or co-worker. (if you don't have an Evite for some reason, email bluewaterwomen@bluewatermission.org)

I (Sonya) feel expectant as we consider the word  "Righteousness" this Saturday. God has wrecked me in such a good way the last couple weeks as I've meditated on and wrestled with this word. It's been personally transformative and I hope to lighten the burdens that have fallen on some of us through its misuse, and instead whet our appetites for the promise it holds.

quick recap of last month for those who missed it:
YWAM was a terrific spot to gather with its sunny, welcoming hall and garden-like setting and the parking next door at St. Francis is such a gift. Breakfast was yum - thanks to all who came carrying casseroles, carbs and fruit!  Nina Pang got us all "ice-broken" and warmed up with a question about our childhood "stuffies". Lauren Koch and Camille Woods led us in a deep time of soaking worship. Vern Lamb shared about ripe opportunities for ministry to trafficking victims through "Red Light Angels".
I brought the first talk in our Language of God series, introducing the symbolic nature of words, the loss of personal authority in our words, and the radical approach of calling God "Father". A brief summary of it is available here. It will prep you as we continue on in the series.

Please RSVP for this Saturday.  Bring something to share but most of all bring your awesome self.
