Join Us!

Our vehicle is a monthly potluck breakfast meeting, normally every second Saturday morning of the month. We welcome God and one another as we eat, worship, listen, speak & pray. Time: 9-11 am. Bluewater Church Office 810 N. Vineyard Blvd, Honolulu 96817 (in the 2-story building at the corner of Palama and Vineyard) . All women are invited to participate but we request that you RSVP via our Evite list so we can plan well. Just enter your email up above to get connected. Leaders

Our core leaders are Sonya Seng, Sandy Chong and Joannie Koch. Sonya co-founded and co-pastors Bluewater Mission Church and is our lead firecracker. Sandy has been with Bluewater since its inception and, with a big heart and matching can-do-practicality, started this ministry in 2016. Joannie Koch brings her warmth and wisdom from years of pastoral service at the Cleveland Vineyard Church. Together with gifted worship leaders and thoughtful small group facilitators, we connect in empowering community.

Our Values

CONNECT - Bluewater Women exists because women in general are specially wired for relational connection. When we're relationally vibrant and healthy, our communities thrive in kind. We all experience a greater satisfaction, health and strength. Although we have the structure of monthly meetings, we're community-oriented and not meeting-oriented.

EMPOWER - We show up. God shows up. Our gatherings are an all-play environment where we show grace to each other as we step out in prayer, worship and sharing. We expect the Holy Spirit to stretch us, fill us and send us out to transform our world.

INVITE - Our gatherings are a friendly "side door" to the church. We hope gals will practice "making the ask" of their non-believing or curious friends who could benefit from this smaller-than-Sunday setting for refreshment and insight. For some women, an invite to an all-women's gathering is really attractive because there are few places where they can show up as they are and be seen and embraced.
