Recently, something happened in the Seng Family's every day life that gave me some spiritual insight, and it really illustrates what Bluewater Women is focusing on at our gathering this Saturday morning. Here's how it went down: in 2005, our home came with brand new white carpeting, but there were some places where the floor would sink a little underfoot. We knew something was messed up under there but we didn't look -- we just adjusted where we stepped -- for 13 years!
Well, that carpet is now neither new nor white. After 2 kids, 4 dogs, 2 cats, aquariums, dinner parties and small groups meetings, it is past cleaning. Even our dog is taking the initiative to tear it out.
But here's the thing. If you want new, it's scary to take out the old, right? What if those soft spots under the carpet are really horrible? Maybe too costly to fix?

God uses this thing called "repentance". Repentance is changing out our floorboards. Repentance opens the door to newness, power and miracles. It allows the original, beautiful and rich design God crafted in us to flow in powerful alignment with his authority and release fruitfulness in our lives. This is "new" you don't want to pass up for anything, a new floor you can dance on.
So come join Bluewater Women this Saturday, July 14 from 8:30-10:30 am in the Bluewater Church Office (810 N. Vineyard). We're continuing our series "The Language of God: Words that Give Life" and, yep, we're digging into the word "Repentance." Michelle Yip, one of Bluewater's key leaders who has had some remarkable experiences of late with this word, will lead us in a practical teaching and powerful ministry time. Get ready for God to release alignment, power and miracles in your life!
This is a potluck breakfast gathering, so bring something to share if you can; and no worries if you can't. If you don't have the "official " Evite for this event, kindly contact bluewaterwomen@bluewatermission.org and ask to be added to the list. This just helps us collect RSVPs and plan better.
Looking forward to seeing you there! Sonya Seng and the Bluewater Women Team
